Nqobile Ogle is a South African gospel singer and worship leader whose powerful voice, heartfelt delivery and faith-centred message have established her as one of the emerging voices in Mzansi gospel.
Born and raised in Port Shepstone, Mthwalume, Nqobile’s musical journey was shaped by her upbringing in the church, where worship became central to both her faith and her development as a singer. She first attracted widespread attention through gospel cover performances on TikTok, with her rendition of Phezukwentaba becoming a viral moment that significantly expanded her audience and brought her music to a new generation of gospel listeners. By early 2026, she had built a TikTok following of more than 98,000.
Her journey extends beyond social media. Nqobile has performed on platforms including Uvukile Festival, International Bethel Ministries and Indumiso Ye Tende. She was also a songwriter on Indumiso Ye Tende’s 2021 album Season One, with her writing credit appearing on Umoya Wami Uyakudinga (Live).
In March 2026, Nqobile reached a significant career milestone with the release of her debut EP, Ilizwi Lakhe, through Gallo Record Company and SoldOut Media. Released on 27 March, the six-track project features Ithemba, Ilizwi Lakhe (Liwukuphila), Siyabonga Jesu, Ngisize Nkosi, Kusenguye uJesu and Umhlaba Uyajika. The project blends traditional gospel, contemporary worship and soulful African sounds, reflecting Nqobile’s belief that music can heal, encourage and restore hope.
The EP was preceded by Kusenguye uJesu, her debut single, which explores unwavering faith and trust in God. With her music rooted in authenticity, heritage and spiritual purpose, Nqobile Ogle is building a career that reaches beyond performance. Her ambition is to use her voice as a ministry, inspiring listeners, strengthening faith and reminding audiences that hope remains even through life’s challenges.
